Iraq may use JASTA bill to sue US govt over 2003 invasion

 

An Iraqi lobbying group is pushing the Iraqi parliament to pass a bill similar to the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) in order to sue the US government for the invasion of Iraq. To discuss, human rights attorney Stanley Cohen joins RT America’s Anya Parampil and says, “Iraqi victims of American war crimes in Iraq may get standing in US courts.”
