In this historic and powerful Dark Journalist episode Host Daniel Liszt welcomes Watergate Lawyer and Author Douglas Caddy. Caddy is well-known for being the Attorney of the Watergate burglars who mysteriously broke into the Democratic National Committee (DNC) looking for secrets that have never been revealed.

Caddy was close personal friends with ultra CIA insider and SuperSpy agent E. Howard Hunt, who used Caddy to represent his many non-intel projects, but later lured him in to represent the Watergate burglars while keeping his own role hidden. In their final meeting Hunt shared never before heard details of the JFK Assassination with Caddy, including the fact that the Watergate burglary was instigated as a mission to obtain vital documents regarding hidden evidence in the DNC that revealed details of a massive conspiracy to assassinate JFK. In a bombshell twist, Hunt then revealed that JFK was killed for his attempts to expose the reality of the Alien Presence and share it with our Russian Cold War adversaries.

Since the original UFO flap of 1947, the US had created a secret group sometimes referred to as 'Majestic Twelve' or ‘MJ12' to study the phenomena and to reverse-engineer technology that was recovered. This secret MJ12 group began to grow beyond it’s mandate and eventually slipped away from presidential supervision and formed a Breakaway group operating inside the National Security State via elements in the CIA. When Kennedy discovered this covert group operating outside the purview of the President he instituted a number of initiatives to regain control over the advanced research and technology achieved with knowledge of the Alien Presence. One of these initiatives was to share our knowledge of the UFO Phenomena with our Russian Cold War enemies in the Soviet Union, and institute a joint Space Program/Moon Mission to avert a new arms race in space.

Documented official memos from JFK, including National Security Action Memorandum 271, direct NASA to institute a new policy of cooperation in space exploration with the Russians, another memo, recently released under the Freedom of Information Act, shows JFK told the CIA to hand over all data concerning UFOs with an emphasis on “High Threat” cases. These memos were dated November 12th, 1963, only ten days before JFK was killed in Dallas, Texas and are further evidence that he was assassinated because of his exposing of the UFO secret. The UFO cabal were not going to let him show the world what the National Security State decided was their own private discovery. They were willing to remove a sitting President to maintain their UFO Technology Secrecy!

Cannabis Can End The Use of Prescription Pain Killers

Opioid prescriptions have jumped 300 percent in the last decade and they are the most commonly prescribed drugs on the market. They are the most dangerous and addictive drugs that often lose effectiveness with long-term use. Now a new study conducted by researchers at The University of New Mexico, involving medical cannabis and prescription opioid use among chronic pain patients, found a distinct connection between having the ability to use cannabis and significant reductions in opioid use.

There is an abundance of evidence that the suppression of medical marijuana is one of the greatest failures of a free society, journalistic and scientific integrity as well as our fundamental values. There is no plant on Earth more condemned than cannabis, yet it has the potential to heal dozens of diseases and curb the rampant use of prescription opioids.

Some studies have suggested that pot may even have a place in curbing the opioid epidemic.

The study titled, "Associations between Medical Cannabis and Prescription Opioid Use in Chronic Pain Patients: A Preliminary Cohort Study," and published in the open access journal PLOS ONE, was conducted by Drs. Jacob Miguel Vigil, associate professor, Department of Psychology and Sarah See Stith, assistant professor, Department of Economics. The results from this preliminary study showed a strong correlation between enrollment in the New Mexico Medical Cannabis Program (MCP) and cessation or reduction of opioid use, and that whole, natural Cannabis sativa, and extracts made from the plant may serve as an alternative to opioid-based medications for treating chronic pain.
Today, opioid-related drug overdoses are the leading cause of preventable deaths in the United States killing approximately 100 Americans every day. Conventional pharmaceutical medications for treating opioid addiction, such as methadone and buprenorphine-tapering, can be similarly dangerous due to substantial risks of lethal drug interactions and overdose.
"Current levels and dangers of opioid use in the U.S. warrant the investigation of harm-reducing treatment alternatives," said Vigil, who led the study. "Our results highlight the necessity of more extensive research into the possible uses of cannabis as a substitute for opioid painkillers, especially in the form of placebo-based, randomized controlled trials, and larger sample observational studies."
Cannabis has been investigated as a potential treatment for a wide range of medical conditions from post-traumatic stress disorder to cancer, with the most consistent support for the treatment of chronic pain, epilepsy, and spasticity. In the U.S., states, including New Mexico, have enacted MCPs in part for people with chronic, debilitating pain who cannot be adequately or safely treated with conventional pharmaceutical medications.

In a historic and significant moment in American history, in November of 2012, Colorado became the first US state to legalize cannabis for recreational use. The impact of the decision has rippled across the entire country with vast opportunities to educate millions on the top health benefits of cannabis and specifically for pain.
Like other states, New Mexico only permits medical cannabis use for patients with certain debilitating medical conditions. All the patients in the study had a diagnosis of "severe chronic pain," annually validated by two independent physicians, including a board-certified specialist.
New Mexico, Vigil notes, is among the U.S. states hardest hit by the current opioid epidemic, although the number of opioid-related overdose deaths appears to have fallen in recent years, perhaps the result of increased enrollment in the NM MCP, which currently includes more than 48,000 patients.
"MCPs are unique, not only because they allow patients to self-manage their cannabis treatment, but because they operate in conflict with U.S. federal law, making it challenging for researchers to utilize conventional research designs to measure their efficacy," Vigil said.
The purpose of the researchers' preliminary, cohort study was to help examine the association between enrollment in an MCP and opioid prescription use. The study observed 37 habitual opioids using, chronic pain patients that chose to enroll in the MCP between 2010 and 2015, compared to 29 patients with similar health conditions that were also given the option, but ultimately chose not to enroll in the MCP.
"Using informal surveys of patients enrolled in the MCP, we discovered a significant proportion of chronic pain patients reporting to have substituted their opioid prescriptions with cannabis for treating their chronic pain," said Vigil.
The researchers used Prescription Monitoring Program opioid records over a 21-month observation period (first three months prior to enrollment for the MCP patients) to more objectively measure opioid cessation -- defined as the absence of opioid prescriptions activity during the last three months of observation, with use calculated in average daily intravenous [IV] morphine dosages. MCP patient-reported benefits and side effects of using cannabis one year after enrollment were also collected.
By the end of the observation period, the data showed MCP enrollment was associated with a 17 times higher age- and gender-adjusted odds of ceasing opioid prescriptions, a 5 times higher odds of reducing daily prescription opioid dosages, and a 47 percentage point reduction in daily opioid dosages relative to a mean change of positive 10 percentage points in the non-enrolled patient group.
Survey responses indicated improvements in pain reduction, quality of life, social life, activity levels, and concentration, and few negative side effects from using cannabis one year after enrollment in the MCP.
The researchers' findings, which provide clinically and statistically significant evidence of an association between MCP enrollment and opioid prescription cessation and reductions and improved quality of life warrant further investigations on cannabis as a potential alternative to prescription opioids for treating chronic pain.
According to Stith, "The economic impact of cannabis treatment should also be considered given the current burden of opioid prescriptions on healthcare systems, which have been forced to implement costly modifications to general patient care practices, including prescription monitoring programs, drug screening, more frequent doctor-patient interactions, treatment of drug abuse and dependence, and legal products and services associated with limiting opioid-related liability."
"If cannabis can serve as an alternative to prescription opioids for at least some patients, legislators and the medical community may want to consider medical cannabis programs as a potential tool for combating the current opioid epidemic," Vigil said.

JFK Reloaded: The Spider & The Deep State (Part 1 & 2) - A conversation with Joseph Farrell

A timely show once electrocuted - now partly revived! A year before the recent JFK files release (indicating ties to Hitler's survival), Al raise this hypothesis with Jos: Could yet another motive for taking out JFK, be his learning of Hitler's escape & engaging to smoke out the Bormann Reich (via the 1962 CIA coup against Peron)? Other issues covered: Who was Bormann's successor? Why did all US presidents, save JFK, visit the "Hitler Hotel" in Bariloche? Is there still a BB Power Base there? Did LBJ fall out of favor with the Deep State? Is there a ritual aspect to the JFK case? + many odd curio - like a covert Deep State wår involving Trump...

Researchers Discover How Antibiotic Power of Garlic Fights Chronic Infections

Garlic is probably nature's most potent food. It is one of the reasons people who eat the Mediterranean diet live such long healthy lives. An active sulphurous compound found in garlic can be used to fight robust bacteria in patients with chronic infections, a new study from the University of Copenhagen indicates.

A previous finding from Washington State University showed that garlic is100 times more effective than two popular antibiotics at fighting disease causing bacteria commonly responsible for foodborne illness.

Here the researchers show that the garlic compound is able to destroy important components in the bacteria's communication systems, which involve regulatory RNA molecules.

'We really believe this method can lead to treatment of patients, who otherwise have poor prospects. Because chronic infections like cystic fibrosis can be very robust. But now we, together with a private company, have enough knowledge to further develop the garlic drug and test it on patients', says Assistant Professor Tim Holm Jakobsen from the Costerton Biofilm Center at the Department of Immunology and Microbiology.
The study is the latest addition from a research group headed by Professor Michael Givskov, which since 2005 has focussed on garlic's effect on bacteria. At the time they learned that garlic extract is able to inhibit bacteria, and in 2012 they showed that the sulphurous compound ajoene found in garlic is responsible for the effect. The new study, which has been published in the scientific journal Scientific Reports, takes an even closer look and documents ajoene's ability to inhibit small regulatory RNA molecules in two types of bacteria.
'The two types of bacteria we have studied are very important. They are called Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. They actually belong to two very different bacteria families and are normally fought using different methods. But the garlic compound is able to fight both at once and therefore may prove an effective drug when used together with antibiotics', says Tim Holm Jakobsen.
Previous studies have shown that garlic appears to offer the most powerful, naturally occurring resistance to bacteria. In addition to inhibiting the bacteria's RNA molecules, the active garlic compound also damages the protective slimy matrix surrounding the bacteria, the so-called biofilm. When the biofilm is destroyed or weakened, both antibiotics and the body's own immune system are able to attack the bacteria more directly and thus remove the infection.
In 2012 the researchers took out a patent on the use of ajoene to fight bacterial infections. Similar patents have been taken out for compounds in allicin -- which gives garlic its aroma and flavour -- and is known as one of the world's most powerful antioxidants.

Every few years, the media stirs up fear of another pandemic to coincide with a new vaccine and fairly totalitarian measures from hospitals and governments. In 2009 the hype was about the swine flu, then came Ebola in 2014, and now it appears that the plague may be the next big scare to get people rushing back to their doctors, afraid of another outbreak.
Africa is usually the place where outbreaks start due to lower hygiene and closer contact with wild animals, which makes it no surprise that Madagascar has become the origin of this particular incident of plague. According to the World Health Organization, the number of deaths from plague in Madagascar was roughly 165 in mid-November after climbing from 30 since early October. So far 2,000 people have been infected, according to CNN.

Neighboring Countries Still on Alert – But Western Countries Shouldn’t Worry

Several neighboring countries of Madagascar are still on Alert for the plague. Those nine countries include Ethiopia, Kenya, Comoros, Mozambique, Reunion island, Mauritius, Seychelles, Tanzania, and South Africa, either because they are in close proximity to, or due to trade links with Madagascar.
Even though neighboring countries in Africa are on alert, there is currently no need to panic if you live in a Western country. Usually, the outbreaks which start in Africa cause very minimal damage in America and Europe, however, the media hype surrounding them is typically more massive in those countries than anywhere else in the world. For example, although during the Ebola outbreak only one American had died, it was possibly the most sensationalized media story in the country in 2014.
Additionally, outbreaks of plague are actually fairly typical in Madagascar, causing an estimated 400 infections per year. Unless you are traveling there in the near future, I would not worry too much about contracting the plague. According to the CDC, 80% of plague cases in the U.S. have been the bubonic form, which is less serious than the pneumonic plague and there have only been 1006 confirmed or probable human plague cases since 1900.
Luckily, the Madagascar outbreak which began in August 2017 is now steadily going down and has likely reached its peak. Generally speaking, travelers are still advised to be cautious when around that area.
“No vaccine is available to prevent plague, but travelers can take steps to prevent plague and plague can be prevented with antibiotics.” – CDC

Is It Lucrative for The Media to Hype Up Outbreaks Anymore?

One thing we can learn from past outbreaks is that they usually blow over fairly quickly – after the media and governmental authorities create a hype that outweighs the actual risk of infection. But with no vaccine and a never-ending supply of useless political news, is it still lucrative enough for the media to blow up stories about disease?
During the Ebola craze of 2014, a political advisor named David Axelrod spoke out about the media’s coverage of Ebola while the UK’s election campaigns were running. Apparently, even those high up in the political sphere see this type of coverage as a distraction from more important issues. He was quoted by the London Telegraph as saying that “Ebola is not a crisis in America. It is a crisis in West Africa, but the media and craven politicians are hyping the threat to keep interest.” David was a senior advisor to Barack Obama’s election campaigns as well as to Ed Miliband in the UK.
Now fast forward to 2017 where the major media uses Washington, particularly regarding unproven allegations with Russia, as the world’s biggest distraction from the most important and actionable stories of the day. Is it still necessary for major media organizations to talk about disease outbreaks in order to stay relevant while they can alternatively get more viewership in other ways? Regardless, it’s probably safe to say that we won’t be suffering from an epidemic of plague anytime soon.

Facebook Announces It Will Use A.I. To Scan Your Thoughts "To Enhance User Safety"

A mere few years ago the idea that artificial intelligence (AI) might be used to analyze and report to law enforcement aberrant human behavior on social media and other online platforms was merely the far out premise of dystopian movies such as Minority Report, but now Facebook proudly brags that it will use AI to "save lives" based on behavior and thought pattern recognition.
What could go wrong?
The latest puff piece in Tech Crunch profiling the apparently innocuous sounding "roll out" of AI (as if a mere modest software update) "to detect suicidal posts before they're reported" opens with the glowingly optimistic line, "This is software to save lives" - so who could possibly doubt such a wonderful and benign initiative which involves AI evaluating people's mental health? Tech Crunch's Josh Cronstine begins:
This is software to save lives. Facebook’s new “proactive detection” artificial intelligence technology will scan all posts for patterns of suicidal thoughts, and when necessary send mental health resources to the user at risk or their friends, or contact local first-responders. By using AI to flag worrisome posts to human moderators instead of waiting for user reports, Facebook can decrease how long it takes to send help.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg has long hinted that his team has been wrestling with ways to prevent what appears to be a disturbingly increased trend of live streamed suicides as well as the much larger social problem of online bullying and harassment. One recent example which gained international media attention was a bizarre incident out of Turkey, where a distraught father shot himself on Facebook Live after announcing that his daughter was getting married without his permission. Though the example actually demonstrates the endlessly complex and unforeseen variables involved in human decision making and the human psyche - in this case notions of rigid Middle East cultural taboos and stigma clearly played a part - Tech Crunch holds it up as something which AI could possibly prevent.
Earlier this year Zuckerberg wrote in a public post that “There have been terribly tragic events - like suicides, some live streamed - that perhaps could have been prevented if someone had realized what was happening and reported them sooner... Artificial intelligence can help provide a better approach.” And in a post yesterday announcing the new AI suicide prevention tool integration, he wrote that “In the future, AI will be able to understand more of the subtle nuances of language, and will be able to identify different issues beyond suicide as well, including quickly spotting more kinds of bullying and hate.”
Naturally, we must ask: what does Mark mean by the eerily ambiguous reference to "we will be able to identify different issues beyond suicide as well.."?
